Digital creation is my thing.
I work with a team of artists and developers creating compelling apps, games, broadcast graphics, and other digital products. I'm equally comfortable wireframing iOS and Android apps or creating 3D models for video games and motion graphics.
I have experience in traditional, on screen games, as well as virtual and augmented reality products.
App Design – NASCAR RaceView
· Updated the UI for NASCAR RaceView to better suite new design styles while also simplifying the app without sacrificing
functionality
· Created comps for several key screens to establish initial design direction. Once accepted, I adapted the design over the
entire app
· Cut all assets and provided detailed annotated designs to the engineers for implementation
· Worked directly with engineers to ensure a correct and clean implementation of the new design
App Prototyping – NHL, PGA, MLB, NFL
· Worked on various apps and pitches for major sports organizations
· Wireframed and comped a puck tracking application for NHL referees. Total time for design and
development was 1 week. We delivered on time with positive results from the NHL
· Sketched out and created comps of various app and broadcast ideas for a pitch to the PGA · Designed various prototype training applications for college sports
Production Work
· Model and texture 3D assets such as company logos and virtual vehicles for use in real-time broadcast, augmented
reality, and virtual reality
· Worked with other artists to create a weekly texture and render pack for RaceView. All textures created from photo
reference taken at the weekly pre-race NASCAR practices
· Rendered all cars in Maya with the new textures for use in RaceView
Tango Targets and Tangosaurs are two augmented reality games that make use of Google’s motion tracking Tango device. Tango Targets brings the fun of a carnival shooting gallery into your own living room, while Tangosaurs takes the player back to the time of dinosaurs where they meet and learn about a life-size dinosaur. These games were showcased at Google IO 2015 and Unity Unite 2015.
· Worked closely with Google engineers to ensure these projects showcased the Tango technology in a relevant way that
was fun and engaging
· Wrote all design documentation and prepared wireframes and mockups for all UI elements and gameplay
· Created all 2D artwork for the apps including menus, buttons, all HUD elements and tutorials
· Modeled, textured and animated 3D assets in Maya
· Acted as a liaison between the art team and the Unity developers to make sure all UI/UX designs and art assets were
properly implemented
· Created particle effects using Unity’s built in particle system
· Provided guidance and feedback to the other artists on the team, making sure the chosen art styles were adhered to
· Animated tutorials and cutscenes in the Unity engine
· Conducted user feedback sessions and adjusted designs based on the gathered data
UI/UX / Game Design / 2D Artist – Way to Gold! Published November 2014
· Wrote all design documentation outlining level types, game piece and obstacle variety
· Created wireframes for game menu system, store, and game play UI
· Created all UI artwork in a sprite sheet format and cut sprites in Unity
· Contributed additional artwork and animation including in-game pieces, Fog of War overlay,
background environment animations, loading animations, and the end of game sequence
· Worked closely with Unity developers to ensure designs and gameplay were implemented properly

· Created concept artwork to establish visual style and thematic direction
· Modeled and UV’d all assets including props, plants, buildings and terrain in Maya
· Generated all texture maps using both photo reference and painting, including diffuse,
specular and normal maps in Photoshop
· Established thematically appropriate particles and animation using After Effects

· Created 3D models of printer labels and label spools in Maya from client provided reference
